Measuring hippocampal cell Rs by single (left in figure below ) or double (right) exponential curve fitting.  For this hippocampal cell, a double exponential fit is far superior to the single exponential curve fit which is so bad it is incorrect. Low magnification traces are on top, high magnifaction traces are on the bottom.
